Need to start saving for an engagement ring. Decided to go ahead and formally propose to 王楠 as soon as I can get one. We can work out the date of the wedding after. I hear that diamond rings are actually cheaper in the US, so I will probably get one there when I go back for Sean's wedding. Which means I only have about 4 months to save up 3 months worth of salary. But I think it can be done. I could live for 4 months on 1 month's salary as long as I don't make bigger purchases, because the minimum monthly living expense isn't that much, and I already have a little saved up.
