Have been spending most of my time studying Chinese characters and also some time reading Hessler's book. They were the easiest things to do to start getting on a productive path again after my vacation ended and my parents left. But now they're starting to overload. Yesterday my eyes hurt from staring at a screen for so long. So my plan to start getting more productive in a balanced way is as follows: Buy some breakfast foods after work today that I can keep in my apartment. (I've been waking up in the late morning, start studying/reading right away, and don't eat anything until the afternoon.) then practice taiji after breakfast. The rest will follow from there.
